My scientific journey began with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Regensburg. From 2020 to 2024, I pursued my Ph.D. in the Längst Lab, focusing on the functional characterization of the nucleocapsid protein of SARS-CoV-2. Since October 2024, I have continued in the Längst Lab as a postdoctoral researcher, investigating the role of triplex structures in gene regulation.
My expertise spans molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, with a focus on protein purification and characterization, including histones, nanobodies, and viral proteins. I am proficient in advanced techniques such as liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) analysis, Microscale Thermophoresis (MST), nanoDSF, and dynamic light scattering (DLS) to study protein interactions and stability.
Additionally, I have substantial knowledge and hands-on experience in chromatin and RNA biology, alongside cell culture techniques such as transfection, immunostaining, and microscopy, enabling detailed studies of protein function and localization.
